Igor Ivanovich Dobrovolski (Russian: Игорь Иванович Добровольский) (born August 27, 1967 in village Markovo, Rozdilnianskyi Raion, Odessa Oblast) is a Russian (and former Soviet) football (soccer) player in the wide attacking midfielder role.
In his early years he trained at Tiraspol Children and Youth Sport School N4. In career he played for FC Nistru Chişinău (1984-1985), FC Dynamo Moscow (1986-1990 and 1993-1994), Servette FC, Genoa C.F.C. (1992-1993), Fortuna Düsseldorf (1996-1999).
At 39 years old he was coaching Tiligul Tiraspol in season 2005-06, but has know taken over the Moldova National team for qualification to Euro 2008 with a view to a 2 year extension to his contract if he is successful.
He played for three different national teams: USSR at 1988 Olympic Games were he was a Gold medal winner and finished 2nd top goal scorer with 6 goals, Romario scored 7 but Brazil lost in the final to USSR. He was also in the 1990 FIFA World Cup with USSR, he played for CIS at Euro 1992 and Russia at Euro 1996.
