Ila Arun

Ila Arun is a popular Indian folk/folk-pop singer with a unique, husky voice and a penchant for folk-pop fusion.
She studied in Maharani Girls college in Jaipur, India.
In the Sony Entertainment Television show Fame Gurukul, she was the headmistress of the school where the contestants of the show trained for the reality singing show. She was a very important factor in the show as she decided which contestants would leave and which would be saved and brought back to Gurukul.
She has won one Filmfare Award in 1993 for the song "Choli Ke Peeche" along with Alka Yagnik.
She singed a song for A.R.Rahman for the film Mr.Romeo (Tamil)
