Imani Hakim

Imani Hakim (born August 13, 1993 in Cleveland, Ohio) is an American actress. She lives in Cleveland, Ohio, with her father and two brothers.
She plays Tonya Rock in UPN's hit comedy Everybody Hates Chris. Hakim is the youngest cast member. Before landing the role of "Tonya", Hakim appeared in stage productions of "Who Stole the Baby Jesus," "Cinderella" and "The Hobbit".
At age seven, Hakim began studying acting at Cleveland's historic Karamu House Theater. She has also studied at Alexander's Workshop in Lakewood, California, and The Young Actor's Space in Burbank, California.
In her spare time, Imani Hakim enjoys music, African culture, reading, writing and martial arts. She is also home-schooled.
