Imre Frivaldszky

Dr Emerich (Imre) Frivaldszky von Frivald (February 6, 1799 - October 19, 1870) was a Hungarian botanist and entomologist.
Frivaldszky was the curator of the national museum in Budapest (1822–51). He was born at Bačkov and died at Jobbágy. Frivaldszky wrote extensively on Lepidoptera and Coleoptera.
