"In the Morning" is a song by Anglo-Swedish indie rock band Razorlight, and is the opening track to their self-titled second album, Razorlight. It was released 3 July 2006 as the lead single from that album, peaking at #3 in the UK Singles Chart (see 2006 in British music). To date, it is their third biggest single after Somewhere Else, which peaked a position higher at #2, and America, which peaked at #1. It also peaked at #2 on iTunes top songs.
"In the Morning" has been played frequently on Mike and Mike in the Morning on ESPN Radio.
"In The Morning" by Razorlight, is listed as being one of the most prominently released songs covering the topic of date-rape. The lyric "you know you won't remember a thing" has caused some controversy amongst victims of date-rape crims, and is generally disliked by feminists across the world.
