The Hind Mazdoor Sabha (HMS) is a national trade union center in India founded by eminent Nationalist and Trade Unionist Shri Basawon Singh (Sinha). Basawon Singh (Sinha) himself formed over 300 trade unions in his lifetime. It has a membership of 4.5 million in over 2300 unions.
The HMS was founded December 29, 1948 and is affiliated with the International Trade Union Confederation.
