Indianapolis Hoosiers

Indianapolis Hoosiers can refer to four different baseball clubs based in Indianapolis, Indiana.
- A team who played in the American Association in 1884 and finished in the 12th place with a 29-78 record.
- A team who played three consecutive seasons in the National League from 1887 to 1889 and posted records of 37-89 (8th), 50-85 (7th) and 59-75 (7th), respectively.
- A team that was a member of the Western League, predecessor to the American League. This team was contracted when the Western League became the American League in 1901.
- A team who won the Federal League championship in 1914 with an 88-65 record. The next season, the team moved to Newark, New Jersey in part by financial problems, and was known as the Newark Peppers, which finished in the 5th place with an 80-72 record. The team played at Federal League Park. Many Hoosiers players had American and National League experience, including Edd Roush and Cy Falkenberg.
