Indigo Girls is the second studio album by Indigo Girls. It was released in 1989 on Epic Records.
The album received excellent critical reviews, and went gold after six months and eventually went platinum. The duo were nominated for a Best New Artist Grammy (losing to Milli Vanilli), and won one for Best Contemporary Folk Recording. It was reissued in 2000 with two bonus tracks.
The Irish band Hothouse Flowers backed the duo on several tracks.
