An Indoor Waterpark is like a water park, except it is indoors, so they can be open 365 days a year, rain or shine.

The first indoor waterpark was built in Wisconsin Dells, Wisconsin at the Polynesian Hotel. They built it in 1994 so it could be a "year round waterpark destination".

Ever since that day, the indoor waterpark business means big business and big bucks, especially for the Dells, which is the waterpark capital of the world. The Dells has 5 Waterpark Resorts that have at least 1 waterpark bigger that 55,000 sq feet. This includes the Kalahari Resort, Chula Vista Resort, Great Wolf Lodge, Wilderness Hotel & Golf Resort, and Treasure Island at Mt. Olympus. Wisconsin has the most indoor waterparks in one state. Other states, especially in the midwest, are building more indoor waterparks separate or to existing hotels so they can become a year-round destination.

- Kiddie Area with sprayers, tipping buckets, and fountains
- 1+ Family Rides (Ride that can occupy over 3 guests)

- Wave Pool
- Water Coaster (Master Blaster)
- Other Attractions (FlowRider, Racing Slides)
