- From Wikipedia:What Wikipedia is not#Wikipedia is not a soapbox:
-
Advertising. Articles about companies and products are acceptable if they are written in an objective and unbiased style. Furthermore, all article topics must be third-party verifiable, so articles about very small "garage" or local companies are not likely to be acceptable. External links to commercial organizations are acceptable if they can serve to identify major corporations associated with a topic (see finishing school for an example). Please note Wikipedia does not endorse any businesses and it does not set up affiliate programs. See also WP:CORP for guidelines on corporate notability.
- From this, I think you need to find third-party sources (e.g. CNN, FOX News, New York Times, etc.) to verify possibly all claims from the ISM site itself in order to make it less like an brochure. I suggest to roughly look through WP:CITE, WP:V, and WP:RS for guidelines on citing sources. Remember, Wikipedia is secondary source-baed site, so any challenging statement should be proven by the third-party sources.
- BTW, are you Darren Fletcher yourself? I was wondering since the uploaded pictures are under the name "Darren Fletcher" and are all released into public domain by yourself. If so, nice to meet you. :-) Vic226 01:50, 16 November 2006 (UTC)
- Also, I need to add the tag back up. I asked the other person on IRC, and he also thinks that it still reads like a brochure; normally, a consensus is required before the tag may be removed. If you wish to have further comments from others, you can post your request on WP:RfC. Until next time, Vic226 02:27, 16 November 2006 (UTC)
