InfoWeapons is an Internet security appliance vendor based in Cebu City, Philippines. The company was co-founded in 2004 by Lawrence Hughes and Luis Gopez (both formerly with VeriSign). Hughes was also co-founder of CipherTrust in 2000. Gopez is the current CEO, while Hughes is the CTO and Chairman of the Board. Their first product is SolidDNS [TM], a very hardened DNS server appliance with full support for IPv6. It has already received the IPv6 Forum IPv6 Ready (Level 1 - Silver) certification. Other IPv6 compliant products are under development. InfoWeapons is also the creator and maintainer of the commercially supported SolidBSD [TM] OS, a very secure fork of the *BSD open source OS.
