It may take some advanced coding but it should be possible. Can we have it so that below the image of the trophy or logo or whatever, you can have two images put next to each other which present the logos of the teams playing each other ONLY in the case of a bilateral series. I was thinking using a board1 and board2 parameter. Then if you don't have a suitable image you can use the images of the teams together. It should end up having pics next to each other like the following:

- how about this? i tried to make them into cells but couldn't since its a infobox and not a wikitable, but if anyone could add two cells for the two pics that be good--Thugchildz

Hey. I think we may as well discuss all of this since it keeps on getting reverted.
- There is no need for two extra pictures on any article. I've never seen an infobox (besides a taxobox) with more than one image. Too many images clutter up the infobox and make it longer than it should be. Cricket board logos are not allowed to be used anywhere except on one page (I've been tapped on the shoulder doing just that in the past, so trust me on that one).
- Colour options look messy and destroy consitency between articles. I think we should remove those values altogether. They are NOT going to be used anywhere. Decoration is unnecessary and is looked down upon around here (by others too, trust me on this one again).

- well i dont see any need for them to be removed though. it doesnt do any harm. The two images doesn't have to logos and just can be use as a lead picture like so just keep them no harm in them.--Thugchildz

- It doesn't do any harm visually but it does take up bandwidth because the entire userbox needs to be loaded with or without those values set in place. If they're removed it could save a bit of money as well as keep Wikipedia running faster as a whole. There only needs to be one lead picture per article. That's why they call it a "lead picture" in singular. --mdmanser 12:47, 12 February 2007 (UTC)
- well those will be used somehow though. The editor above asked for it so I have made it. Those values not take much bandwith for it needing to be removed. Just let it stay like it is now.:)--Thugchildz

- Yep, he did ask for that. But as we've now established in this discussion, logos are not allowed in template namespace. So when he said "Can we have it so that below the image of the trophy or logo or whatever, you can have two images put next to each other which present the logos of the teams playing each other," he mustn't have realised this is not allowed anyway. And no, it doesn't take a lot of bandwidth per page view, but after thousands of views it does add up quite quickly. - Right. Instead of reverting my entire edit, how about you just change the intricate bits that you don't like? All of my formatting from the previous infobox continues to be removed as well as some other things in the box. Just take note that NO infobox that I have come across uses coding like this. Colours and decorations detract from the quality of an article and defeat the purpose of one uniform style between articles. I certainly dislike these bgcolour options but I'll let it go for now. In a few days time though I will come back and take note of any progress these colour options have in actual article space.
