Ingrid Haas

Ingrid Haas received most of her media attention from the viral marketing campaign that she was involved in called "Bride Has Massiva Hair Wig Out". She was hired as a writer and actor for the non branded campaign which received well over 2 million hits on YouTube.
Ingrid was raised in Toronto by both her Jewish parents; Bonnie (born in New Zealand) and Wayne Haas. She is the middle child to her elder sister: Tania Leah and younger brother Steven Leo.
Haas graduated from Earl Haig Secondary School; The Claude Watson School for the Arts in 2002 as a drama major. Immediately after graduation she was accepted into the prestigious Ryerson University Theatre School BFA. She trained with some of Canada's most well respected theatre/film professionals; Peter C. Wylde, Perry Schneiderman, John Boylan, Marianne McIsaac, Cynthia Ashperger, Eda Holmes, Ian Watson, Liza Balkan, Micheal Walker and Jason Sherman. She also studied film at the "Larry Moss Studio" in Los Angeles, California.
Ingrid graduated from Ryerson in 2006 and was immediately cast in the Blyth Summer Theatre Festival where she worked with Paul Thompson; one of Canada's founding father's of Collective Theatre and Leah Cherniak; who also trained her in clown. She has been a host on Canada's Much Music, done countless short films and national commercials. She has also written many one act plays; including "In Store Focus" which was produced by Sheldon Rosen at the "New Voices Festival".
Ingrid has a deep affection for film and theatre and hopes to continue working in the field that she loves most.
