Ingrid Kavelaars (born March 20, 1971) London, Ontario is a Canadian film actress.

She graduated high school from Regina Mundi College in London, Ontario Canada.

Ingrid moved to New York City from London, Ontario at the age of 19 to pursue a career as an actress. She has mostly done work on television shows and most notably three episodes in Stargate SG-1 between 2003-2004. In 2006, she was a main character in a Canadian television series called Whistler. She is expected to return to the show in 2007 for its second season.

Was Miss Teen London in 1987 and was first runner up for Miss Teen Canada 1987.
Ingrid has three sisters and one brother. Her twin sister Monique Kavelaars competed in the same competition only in 1989 and was Miss Teen London 1989 as well as Miss Teen Canada 1989.
Twin sister Monique is a world class athlete in fencing which she took up in high school. Monique was a Silver Medalist at the Commonwealth Games for fencing. Also, is the only Canadian woman to ever win an individual match in Epee Fencing at an Olympic Event (Athens 2004).
Ingrid and Monique also have an older sister Annette Kavelaars Burrows who was Miss London 1984, and competed in the 1985 Miss Canada Pageant. Annette also taught as a high school arts teacher for a number of years.
She is married to former NHL hockey Player Dallas Eakins (29 June 2001 - present).
Currently resides in Vancouver, Canada and Scottsdale, Arizona.
