Institute of Legal Studies

The Institute of Legal Studies at Australian Catholic University is a new initiative of that university. It is presently Australia's only academic centre dedicated to the exploration of the intersection of faith and law.
It intends to offer its courses and programmes throughout Australia, with a particular focus on the needs of rural and regional areas and of Australia's Indigenous people.
The foundation Professor of Law in the Institute of Legal Studies is Jesuit priest and lawyer Frank Brennan AO SJ.
