Talk:Insert key
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Agreed, overstrike article is also poorly written and involves blanket opinions and data that is not backed up. The "INSERT Key" Article contains the definition of overstrike mode, albeit only a sentence, so an additional article is really unnecessary.
Article on overstrike mode isn't big enough, or notable enough, to warrant a seperate article, merge it into the page of the key that controls it. 204.9.144.52 15:53, 29 March 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Hate the Insert key
I hate this key. Why must it be positioned so close to the backspace? Agreed, this may not be relevant, but I'm sure someone out there feels in a similar way.
I do. I absolutely abhor overtype mode. I attempt to add a word, and POOF! the next word is half gone. I hate overtype. 72.66.98.55 01:45, 6 February 2007 (UTC)
- Heh, on my keyboard the Insert key is gone, and the Delete key is double height. I wonder if they'll all go this way... I mean, how useful can the overwrite mode be? Rawling 17:27, 14 January 2007 (UTC)
