Currently, this category is a sub-category to Category:Websites, Category:World Wide Web, Category:Search engines, Category:Research. I think Category:Websites and Category:Research are irrelevant in some cases, so I am removing them. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by R6MaY89 (talk • contribs) 00:12, 26 December 2005.
- The category name "Internet search engines" would imply that everything in this category is a search engine. As far as I know, all Internet search engines are websites. If that is irrelevant to some article in this category, I would suggest that the article should not be in this category. Re-adding Category:Websites. ~ Booya Bazooka 21:37, 29 May 2006 (UTC)
- Not all Internet search engines are websites. For example, [1] and (some of the things on) [2] are search engines, but not websites. Benn Newman 14:58, 5 July 2006 (UTC)
- I see what you are saying, but what do you propose? All of these search engines that are websites need to be in some subcategory of Category:Websites.
