I reverted some changes that were made because of unsourced material.
Regarding the source about Alice Day: I don't know that much about that day, but why would the source not be good? Actually I first read about the day in the article about Pedophile Activism, where it is still mentioned. The source that is given there was no longer online, so I googled for another one. And why would a site about girllove not be a good source for a day celebrated by the girllove community?
I also reverted most of the second paragraph from the 'Observation and history' part. The blue candle is the general symbol of the IBLD and information about that and other activities can be found at all links that are given in the notes and references sections. I also reverted the Anarchopedia reference - why would another Wiki not be an acceptable reference for Wikipedia?
I left out the last sentence about larger meetings though, as I really don't know a good source where this is mentioned right now.--Greeny6000 00:42, 7 January 2007 (UTC)

- In this case I would think though, that Lindsay Ashford is well-known in this context and that Alice Day lies within his "field of expertise".
- Moreover I am not sure why a wiki should not be considered reliable, since Wikipedia is a wiki itself, but of course, if this is an official policy, you are correct here. - Did he create the holiday himself? What I meant was that he should be an expert on topics about the girllove community. In the pedophile activism article a different source is given for the day, but it is no longer online. You can look it up on the Internet Archive, but the page looks scrambled there: http://web.archive.org/web/20060427232546/http://yani.glgarden.org/Archive/04-2003/nfcommunity.html
- If you look at the source code of the page you can find the reference though: "We have chosen April 25 as a day to commemorate this special relationship and to celebrate the ideal of consensual girl love we strive to achieve."

Maybe that's not clear; what I mean is I'd like to see some evidence that "allies and sympathizers" exist and that they celebrate this holiday. P4k 02:53, 10 January 2007 (UTC)
- Well, there are probably not that many sympathizers, but sometimes also non-pedophiles are on the 'pro side' of the pedophilia debate and so the sentence says that the day is not only there for pedophiles, but also for sympathizers. But maybe the formulation could be changed to only one term instead of two.--Greeny6000 03:21, 11 January 2007 (UTC)
