[edit] Episode 3
can someone put a summary for ep 3
[edit] Episode 4 - Hell on Wheels
- I have started a rough plot synopsis for episode 4. Not the same quality as prior work done by others. Anyone else watching? Care to help? --Tony Hecht 00:07, 11 July 2005 (UTC)
[edit] Episode 5 - Casualties of War
- I will be working on a rough plot synopsis for episode 5 this weekend. Any feedback on my work on a rough plot synopsis for episode 4? I have created new entries for Richard Henry Pratt (Keith Carradine) and the Carlisle Indian Industrial School already. --Tony Hecht 23:02, 16 July 2005 (UTC)
- I posted my synopsis for episode 5. I think it could use some help. Anyone else watching? --Tony Hecht 04:16, 18 July 2005 (UTC)
- I added info in the last paragraph about Voices that Carry's resistance to assimilation. I really like that kid. I didn't go into specifics, but I can if you want.
- Sounds good User:63.205.15.186 re: "Voices that Carry". Please expand on it. I like that kid too. maltmomma 03:17, July 22, 2005 (UTC)
[edit] Headings
- I've tried to make each episode into a "heading" in order to have a Table of Contents but Episode 3 will not convert. Every other episode will. Does anyone know why? I used the === === on either side but it won't change. maltmomma 15:57, July 17, 2005 (UTC)
- I tried, and it seems to work. Take a look at my edit and see what I did differently. --Tony Hecht 04:23, 18 July 2005 (UTC)
-
- Thanks Tony, I think the problem was I was trying to use 3 === instead of 2 == like you used. Looks good! Appreciate the help. maltmomma 15:27, July 18, 2005 (UTC)
[edit] Episode 6 - Ghost Dance
- It appears that I am going to miss Episode 6! Due to Violent Storm Leaves 32,000 Powerless. Can anyone else write a synopsis for episode 6? --Tony Hecht 01:23, 25 July 2005 (UTC)
- Well done, User:Tony619. Definitely a good start! --J. J. 03:14, 2005 July 26 (UTC)
[edit] a trivia section?
There's no "background information" or "trivia" section into which I can edit, and I don't wish to add one superflously. http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/entertainment/4820582.stm is an interesting article, and would be interesting as a footnote or such. — pd_THOR | =/\= | 17:18, 18 March 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Timeline and Family Tree sections
Could somebody create a timeline for the events depicted in the mini-series, as well as a fictional genealogyfor the Wheeler Family ant the Lakota people in different articles? RobertCMWV1974 20:21, 25 October 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Inaccuracies?
- Episode 3 showed Quantrill's raiders operating prior to the outreak of civil war. Is this right?
- Episode 2 showed the death of a character whose leg was broken after the "doctor" took an hour and a half to amputate the lower leg. Most surgeons of the time were very quick at this (survival not being guaranteed) and even allowing for incompetance the action of a saw would surely permit mush quicker action than this. If it did take this long surely the patient would have died of blood loss long before 90 minutes was up? Dainamo 23:21, 19 November 2006 (UTC)
