ION Life is a digital television network owned by ION Media Networks, dedicated to health and wellness-related programming. It was launched on February 19, 2007.
The network is available 24 hours a day on digital subchannels of ION owned-and-operated stations. ION Life programming is also carried on the ION Plus feeds available on DirecTV, some Comcast and Time Warner Cable systems, and some non-O&O stations, in place of paid programming that airs on the main ION network.
The network was going to be called iHealth prior to i's rebranding as ION Television. [1]
ION Television airs samples of ION Life programming on Monday and Friday nights.
