Irving Younger

Irving Younger (1932-88) was an American lawyer, law professor, judge, and writer, born in New York City, New York, USA. He is well known among lawyers and law students for his exciting talks on effective trial advocacy.

Younger went to high school at the Bronx High School of Science and finished his undergraduate studies at Harvard University in 1953. He got his Juris Doctor from New York University Law School in 1958 following two years in the army. He was married to Judith Weintraub Younger. Through the later part of his career, Younger is widely believed to have set the standard for excellence in Continuing Legal Education (CLE).
