From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Season 3, Episode 2, "Is Freedom Free?," first aired on July 17th, 2000.
In order to celebrate Freedom Week, Jerri takes a picture of herself in the buff for a class project and ignites a storm of censorship, led by Principal Blackman and Minister Arsenew, her project partner's father. She and Mr. Jellineck realize that the only way to properly expose herself, and by radical extension Mr. Jellineck's own art, is a hunger strike.

[edit] Quotes
- All right, to kick off Freedom Week, Arnie's father, Minister Arsenew, is going to give us a little talk about freedom. I want you to listen carefully, because he is a prominent religious figure and this is a public school. — Mr. Noblet
- And who are you going to listen to? The Almighty, or one of those foul-mouthed-Jew-Negro-reeking-anti-Capital Punishment types like that Buddha Stalin character... — Minister Arsenew
- Why are you so nervous? I've posed for photos plenty of times, and the dwarf never got nervous. — Jerri
- Don't you want to be like the great freedom fighters, like Gandhi? — Mr. Jellineck
- What happened to him? — Jerri
- They shot him in the stomach. Or like Martin Luther King. — Mr. Jellineck
- What happened to him? — Jerri
- They shot him in the head. Or Bobby Kennedy? — Mr. Jellineck
- Someone shoot him? — Jerri
- No, he drowned in a car accident; his brother was driving. — Mr. Jellineck
- What's Geoffrey thinking? He's being so rebellious, like some leather-clad biker with the smell of cheap alcohol on his breath. Tight pants creaking like a rusty doorhandle as he makes his way across the bar and pins you to the wall with that smokey glare of his. You want to run, but you can't. You can't move. It's like he's trapped you like some helpless woodland creature... You guys know what that's like!... Right?... — Mr. Noblet
[edit] Background Signs & Oddities
