Category talk:Israeli Jews
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
This category is totally unnecessary. The people should be included in the respective categories for Israelis and/or Jewish people of their profession.--Nitsansh 03:17, 4 February 2007 (UTC)
I don't understand. We have loads of lists of Jews by country, such as French Jews, Dutch Jews, etc. . What is your basis under Wiki standards for saying this?--Epeefleche 03:47, 4 February 2007 (UTC)
I hope you see the difference between Jews in Israel and Jews in other countries.--Nitsansh 04:10, 4 February 2007 (UTC)
BTW... when you create a new category, you must link it to at least one "parent" category. Otherwise it's completely useless.--Nitsansh 04:13, 4 February 2007 (UTC)
As to your first point, I'm not sure what the difference is that you are referring to. Are you suggesting that all Israelis are ipso facto Jews? That is not the case. 24% of Israelis are not Jewish. Please clarify your point, if that is not it, as I am missing it.
I must say I don't follow your second point either.
Thanks.

Seems fair to me per the 24% argument. Why is there only 3 articles in the category though? --kingboyk 23:30, 25 March 2007 (UTC)
