Israeli MIAs

Several hundred members of the Israeli military have been declared Missing In Action (MIA) since 1948.
The following are the most famous MIAs:
- Tank crewmembers declared missing after the Battle of Sultan Yakoub in Lebanon, June 12, 1982:
- Zachary Baumel
- Tzvi Feldman
- Yehuda Katz
- F-4 navigator lost over Lebanon on October 16, 1986:
- IDF conscript who disappeared on duty in the Golan Heights, 1997:
- One IDF soldier kidnapped in a cross-border raid near Kerem Shalom, conducted by several Palestinian organizations (including Hamas)
- Two IDF soldiers, who were captured by Hezbollah near Zar'it, triggering the 2006 Lebanon-Israel conflict:
- Ehud Goldwasser (captured 12 July 2006)
- Eldad Regev (captured 12 July 2006)
