From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Israeli beer is manufactured primarily by two major two brewers in Israel, Tempo Beer Industries Ltd. of Netanya and the newer Israel Beer Breweries, of Ashqelon, a subsidiary of the local Coca-Cola Company. Tempo brews award winning Maccabee, Goldstar and Nesher Malt beers and imports Heineken. Israel Beer Breweries brews Carlsberg, a dry amber Tuborg and a non-alcoholic malt. They also import Guinness and Baltika. In addition, they recently began brewing Layla "dirty blonde" beer, exported only to America.
