"Israeli families and official also accused individuals in the UN force of aiding the abduction." This seems only as an unproven claim. Who has revealed what about UN involvement in this case? Jakro64 22:31, 21 Nov 2004 (UTC)
The story was put forth by the families of killed soldiers and implied by some members of the press. According to a partisan web site on the matter (and there are many), an Indian peacekeeper also claimed in a radio interview that UNIFIL cooperated with the abduction. Suspicion was also caused by the UN's denial of posession of a video filmed by Indian peacekeepers a day after the abduction, which it later admitted to having and turned over (as mentioned). A UN investigation has found the accusations to be false but the families are unconvinced and suing the UN. Even if one rejects the UN story, it is not clear what the motive would have been in aiding Hizballah since, according to the UN-drawn Blue Line, Hizballah is attempting to wrongfully claim Israeli terrirory. The claim wasnt aiding the abduction itself.the claim was: 1. Knowing the UN have video on every post it must have one were the abduction took place. The UN denied at first, only after a long time it was givin to israel. 2. The indian peacekeepers saw the abduction (hizballah fired a missile on the army-car then crossed the border took the soldiers and went back inside lebanon, it took aprox. 10-20 min. if not more) and just stood aside.they didnt warned the terrorist nor fired upon them. later it was discoverd that the indian peacekeepers were afraid, hiding in the guard-post, they witnessed the abduction not lifting a finger. which causes israel to set free more then 400 palestinians terrorist for the bodies. 02 Apr 2006

First of all, you have said a lot of lies.
Israeli Defence Forces means Israeli Attack Forces. It is very useful to have a entire army to kill boys that throw stones and kill girls that stay in the school (look today news for more information)
In the battle with Egypt in the Jon Kipur War the israeli military forces was destroyed by egyptians soldiers armed with waterhoses. The super machines of the army of terror colulded do nothing.
The main purpouse of these machines is to destroy houses of palestinians that live with 1 dolar pro month.
what for a pride to have all the money from US to fight with 4 desperates Palestinians ready to die.

it strikes me odd that in yom kippur war the "israeli military forces was destroyed".if you want to look database go to yom kippur war to see some statistics: 2600 dead for the israeli army - more then 8000 dead to egypt forces alone. not including the fact that in that war, tough israel lost a tiny part of sinai (really small one), israel also captured ground. not to mantion taking what remaind from the golan. waterhoses?? the soviet-union and west germany supplied egypt with the most advenced fighting arms.not to mantion that egypt and syria opened that attack on yum kippor, the most holy day to jews, when all the radio,tv and phones are closed (its was a brilliant idea to attack at that day,very rude,but brilliant). kill boys with rocks? girls at school?. fighting in an urban territory is hard and the idf makes mistakes the diffrance is that when terrorists kill children then nobody cares cause you expect that from them, but when the idf makes mistakes (and apologies after) every one screaming.not to mantion that terrorist send kids (fact,like it or not,they give them about 20-100 israeli shekels) to an army close ground to check if the idf respondes,not to mantion sending kids with bomb-belt on them (3 were captured near an army base in 2005 alone), should i also include here 15-16 year old kids who go suicide-bombing?. mistakes happen and its hard, normally in war the innocents get hurt, but before you know facts dont talk!!. by the way, in rallys when boys throw stones only when the idf cant control the situation it uses rubber-cover bullents. you have to be very close to get killed by one. im pretty sure you will dismiss all ive just writin cause you probably hate israel or/and jews but hey,each man with his own belives.

At this article (and I think that at many others), Wikipiadians replace the term "Operation Peace for Galilee" at the term "1982 Lebanon War" with summaries like NPOV. These terms are not equivalent! The Operation Peace for Galilee refer here (and maybe at the others) to the three initial months of the war (This is the period of the Operation), so the article after the replacing contains less information.
