17-January-2007: I have shifted the district-name labels for a closer fit to the underlying regions (shifting label "Bahçelievler" much lower). Also, some of the labels overlapped nearby labels (such as "Fatih" onto "Beyoğlu"). Space was opened by splitting "Zeytinburnu" using a "br" code inside the link name:
-
-
- [[Zeytinburnu|Zeytin-<br>burnu]]
-
I used a Turkish apartment-map of districts to check names:

Overall, the concept of the name-linked map is working well, although the names had to be small to fit the tiny regions, at the current magnification of 500-pixels wide. A map 20% larger (600px) might be easier to read, but not fit the typical 800x600 screen for an article. -Wikid77 16:33, 17 January 2007 (UTC)
