ISV-Kran

ISV-Kran is a crashed spaceship appearing in the game Unreal.

The spaceship is a research vessel belonging to Inuit Corporation, and staffed with personnel of mostly Russian ancestry. It has four decks, each serving a specific purpose.
The vessel crashlanded on the planet Na Pali, possibly due to the planet's Tarydium field. Upon crashing onto the planet's surface, the ship destroyed approximately half of the temple of Vandora, creating a vast trench in its place. The crew survived the crash, but the Kran was crippled.
The crewmen, led by captain Mikail Leatham, managed to surive for several months, but eventually, a Skaarj war party managed to breach the hull at Deck 4. While containment fields were deployed, it did little to hold off the invading force, which worked its way towards Decks 2 & 3. Deck 1 has fallen with the breach of the Observation Lounge.
Several crewmembers managed to evacuate the ISV-Kran, possibly through the Aft Loading Bay and Deck 1 Emergency Teleporter. Among them was science officer Kira Argmanov. Unfortunately, the escapees weren't able to outrun the Skaarj and met their demise at the Bluff Eversmoking monastery, in an attempt to rescue Argmanov, who was captured by the Skaarj. The player locates Kira's body in the bell tower of the Bluff Eversmoking monastery. She had been holding out there after a Nali priest tunneled her out of her prison cell. Her last log entry suggests that she was found by the Skaarj and killed.
It was not until two years after the crash, that human rescue arrived. According to Unreal Tournament, four survivors of the ISV-Kran were rescued, among them Luthienne, who later participated in the Liandri Corporation Tournament.

- Deck 1
- The primary deck houses the ISV-Kran's bridge, an emergency teleporter located beneath it, crew berths with an adjacent observation lounge and a science/research lab.
- Decks 2 & 3:
- These decks contain the engineering facilities of the ship as well as primary scanning stations. Here the engine and the core generator are located, providing power and propulsion for the Kran. Additionally, they house the Biosuit Control Station as well as the ship's dock, containment field generators (powered by a pair of gold cores) and the main coolant control for the engine core.
- Deck 4
- The dock located at the far end of the ship houses the aft loading bay equipped with two biosuit stations and several storage facilities as well as the mezzanine venting system.
