中文 : 鸵鸟是一种不能飞的鸟，也是现存最大的鸟。雄鸟可以高达2.5米，最大体重可达155千克，雌鸟较小，两翼退化，龙骨突不发达，不会飞，但善跑（时速可达65千米/时），足有二趾。雄鸟黑色，尾羽白色，是非常有价值的装饰羽毛。卵重达1公斤。
