Durante l'estate del 1976, i Queen stavano al loro nuovo album, A Day At The Races, che poi sarebbe uscito il dicembre dello stesso tempo.
Nel frattempo però avevano organizzato quattro concerto nelle tre capitali principali dell'Uk: Edinburgo, Cardiff e Londra. Il concerto passato alla storia è appunto l'ultimo, a Londra ad Hyde Park, un concerto gratuito con un pubblico di 150.000 persone, un record per l'epoca, raggiugendo il numero di presenze che ci furono al Live 8 del 2005.
