J. Audobon Woodlore
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
J. Audobon Woodlore is a fictional character created by The Walt Disney Company. He is the park ranger of Brownstone Park, one of the features of which is a geyser named Old Fateful. He first appeared in a Donald Duck cartoon titled Getting Beezy. He also might have appeared in another Donald Duck Cartoon as well. He cares about the bears as if they are his children, but once convinced them to pick up the trash (left by tourists) by making a game of it. Most of them are obedient but not Humphrey. J. Audobon Woodlore often lectures Humphrey. He most recently appeared in an episode of House of Mouse.
The name Audobon comes from the latin word for waterfowl (It could also be a homage to the early American painter and naturalist John James Audubon) and the word Woodlore means made of wood. No one knows what the J stands for.
