Jae Lee
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Jae Lee (born 1972-06-22) is a Korean-American Eisner Award-winning comic book artist known for his dark, gothic style of work.
Jae Lee was born in South Korea in 1972 and immigrated with his family to the United States at age six. He attended art school, but left in 1990 to pursue a career at Marvel Comics, becoming the youngest professional artist ever to work for a major comic book company.
He is probably best known for his work on Marvel's Namor the Sub-Mariner, Inhumans (for which he won an Eisner Award), and The Sentry, as well as his creator-owned character Hellshock at Image Comics.
Lee is currently working on Marvel Comics' spinoff of Stephen King's The Dark Tower spinoff miniseries, The Gunslinger Born, which is scripted by Peter David. [1]
Jae Lee is a 1990 graduate of Robinson Secondary School in Fairfax County, Virginia. While a student there, he designed the commemorative t-shirt for his class's graduating party and was selected as the most artistic male in his graduating class. He received professional commissions as early as his ninth grade.
Lee's public email, which he has made available, is jaelee@aol.com.
He is not related to fellow comic book creators Stan Lee, Jim Lee, Pat Lee, or Elaine Lee.
