Jake Bell

Jake Bell is a writer for both CRACKED Magazine and CRACKED.com. Bell was part of a movement of new talent brought aboard by Jack O'Brien and Jay Pinkerton just prior to the relaunch of the magazine.
Jake attended Arizona State University graduating with a Bachelor of Arts in Broadcast Journalism from the Walter Cronkite School of Journalism & Mass Communication in 1997 and an MBA from the W.P. Carey School of Business in 2005. Bell has a tattoo of Sparky and the ASU logo on his left shoulder. While a student, Bell interned with both Miramax Films and the Milwaukee Brewers.
Prior to joining CRACKED, Bell was a sports reporter and anchor for NBC affiliates KYMA in Yuma, Arizona and WJHG in Panama City Beach, Florida. He is also head writer at Ye Olde Comick Booke Blogge, a blog about comic books, which is where Pinkerton first encountered his writing and ultimately recruited him to join CRACKED.
