Jens Jakob Teislev was born June 12, 1977 as youngest son of Aslaug Mariane Sannah Teislev and Bjørn Ivan Bach Teislev. He has two brothers, Sofus Peter Teislev and Rasmus Teislev Neckelmann as well as a sister Anna Mathilde Moth. Growing up in Lyngby he spent his college and university years on the island Fyn, where he studied History at the University of Odense.

Leaving the university in 2000 he made a rapid career in the newly formed self-storage company City Self-Storage, founded by self-storage pioneers Carl August Svensen Ameln and Lasse Høydal.
Ending in charge of IT in Europe, he left the company in 2003 and moved to Costa del Sol Spain where he formed the IT and business consultancy company Solving IT Business Software Solutions S.L., which in 2004 gained the franchise to market the popular self-storage management system SiteLink from US developers SMD Software. With clients in several European countries, he chose to focus his energy into a different channel in 2006.
He is presently operating the vacation rental company Jakobs Villas S.L. from Alicante in Spain, which is rapidly growing to become a popular choice for home owners and holiday makers.
