James G. Lakely

James G. Lakely, born September 15, 1970, is an American editorial writer for the Riverside Press-Enterprise in Riverside, Ca. From 2002 to 2005, he covered the White House, Congress and United States politics for The Washington Times. He has also worked at the Free Lance-Star in Fredericksburg, Va., the Pittsburgh and Greensburg Tribune-Review newspapers and the Bradford Era in Pennsylvania.
Born in New York City, he has also lived in Pittsburgh, Dayton, Ohio, Arlington, Va., and currently resides in Riverside, Ca., with his wife, Jackie, two dogs and a cat. Lakely is a 1992 graduate of the University of Pittsburgh where he majored in English Writing and was Sports Editor and Managing Editor of the Pitt News.
