James Walker (born November 25, 1987 in Hackney, London) is an English footballer playing for Notts County on loan from Charlton Athletic. He has had loan spells with Hartlepool United, Bristol Rovers and Leyton Orient and is an England Under-18s international.
Walker was released by Charlton in 2006 , but was invited back on a trial by new manager Iain Dowie during pre season , and he impressed by scoring against Millwall Germinal Beerschot and scored twice against Hibernian and earned a new one year contract with Charlton.
On November 23, 2006 Walker joined Leyton Orient on a loan deal which expired on February 23, 2007. He scored with his final touch for the club in a 5-2 away win against Millwall on February 20, 2007.
He joined Notts County in March, 2007
