James Wilhoit

James Howell Wilhoit II (born June 30, 1983) is the placekicker for the University of Tennessee football team. He is considered a possible pick in the 2007 NFL Draft.[1] [2]

Wilhoit has been a four year starter at Tennessee where he has handled place kicks and kickoffs. Wilhoit has won several awards both for academics and athletic performance. Wilhoit has hit one game winning kick, a 50 yard FG against the University of Florida in 2004. That kick followed a missed extra point earlier in the game that had put the Vols down by one point.
Wilhoit was named All SEC following the 2006 season.

Wilhoit attended Hendersonville High School in Hendersonville, TN. Wilhoit received All American honors from Parade, PrepStar, SuperPrep, Student Sports and Borderwars.com. Wilhoit was also named All-State in chorus.
