James "Bo" Wallace

James "Bo" Wallace is a bassist from Indianapolis, Indiana, best known for his 3 month tenure with Iced Earth. In December 2006, it was announced he had joined the band, and would play on their new records as well as tour with them on "The Wicked World Tour".[citation needed] James has also recorded, released material, and toured with U.S. mid-west rock icons, Brainduster, Simon Barr Sinister and Ma Kelley.
He also plays guitar, drums and has played keyboards in studio sessions. He has played the bass professionally for 22 yrs and is known for his versatility in most any style of music. A self taught musician growing up in Indianapolis, IN. Started out playing all styles of music being a very unique south paw player, actually playing the bass strung right handed (upside down, backward).
Bo is a very seasoned studio musician, with many professional. cd's to his credit. He has released material in the United States, Japan and throughout Europe. Bo Wallace started playing clubs/bars at 16, has followed his vision and his passion and love for music ever since. His demand and longevity in bands of various styles and array of people only further shows his known flexibility, positive attitude and his professional work ethics. Not to mention easy going personality and the ability to get along and create music with most anyone in most any situation. This is only helped to mold him into the musician he is today.
On March 17, 2007, it was announced that Bo Wallace had to leave Iced Earth due to family health issues. He has been replaced by Beyond Fear bassist Dennis Hayes on the band's upcoming albums and tour.[1]
