Janet Shamlian

Janet Shamlian is a national correspondent for NBC News and appears on The Today Show and the NBC Nightly News.
She previously worked at WBBM-TV in Chicago and KHOU-TV and KPRC-TV, both in Houston. She also worked at WOOD-TV in Grand Rapids, Michigan.
Janet is the only Armenian-American woman to regularly appear on network news. The only Armenian-American male on a network, is CBS News' chief investigative correspondent Armen Keteyian, fomerly of HBO Real Sports and ABC News.
Shamlian is a graduate of the University of Missouri School of Journalism. She is married and lives in Chicago.
