Jannis Kallinikos

Jannis (John) Kallinikos (Greek: Ιωάννης Καλλίνικος) is a Greek organizational theorist and intellectual focusing in particular on the area of information technology and information systems and their implications for organizations and society. Kallinikos was born and raised in the north western town of Preveza, Greece. After completing his undergraduate studies in Athens, Kallinikos moved to Sweden, Uppsala and enrolled at Uppsala University in order to pursue doctoral studies in business. He was awarded his PhD from the Department of Business Studies, Uppsala University in 1984. Jannis Kallinikos is currently with the London School of Economics where is engaged with research as well as being head of the PhD programme.
