The Japanese Animation Club of Orlando (JACO) serves as the officially sanctioned anime club for the University of Central Florida (UCF) in Orlando, Florida (Union Park campus). Currently JACO has well over 100 members, and to compliment the annual event JACON, they have regular meetings at the UCF campus. Their advertisements can be seen in many comic shops all throughout Central Florida. One of their main supporters, The Fantasy Factory, even sells clothing and cosplay outfits specially designed for their conventions.
JACO is the largest anime club in the Central Florida region, staging an annual convention known as JACON. JACON was held from April 28 to April 30 2006 in Orlando, Florida.
