Jawid Sharif (Persian: جاويد شريف) (born Ahmad Jawid Sharif => أحمد جاويد شريف) is an Afghan singer. He now resides in Hamburg, Germany, continuing singing in exile. He has released six albums (as of 2007, his fourth album containing two disks) that have gained popularity as well as critical acclaim.
In March 2007, Jawid Sharif made a trip to Afghanistan for a series of performances on the occasion of Nouroz.
