I think I've finished putting all the Chilean cities and towns back where they belong. Let me know if there are some I missed that you can't do yourself. I've also done a few adjustments with mis-categorized articles from Chile, one town which is actually a city( over 5.000 people), lots of spelling checks, and even a new article about Cerro Sombrero. I think I can literally dump lots of Chilean related contents, specifically from Magallanes region. But I'm not very proficient at structuring my writing, would this be ok? I mean, I write a full raw article, and wait until some else (perhaps you) puts in the proper styling conditions? Obviously I won't go around just talking nonsense, but I think my articles would definitely need some extra hands. I'd appreciate your comments. Kilroytech 18:47, 22 March 2007 (UTC)

If you're going to do a lot of work on settlements you might want to download the report from the INE which has populations of all cities, towns, villages etc in Chile. I recategorized your article on Cerro Sombrero to a village, based on INE definitions.

Don't worry a lot about the style of your information, others will polish it up. What's most important is the correctness of your information, and make a point of including verifiable reliable sources in the article whenever you can.

One comment I'd make about your articles is that you need to be careful to have them read like an information piece and not an advertising or tourist promotion piece. Instead of saying "The best restaurant in town is XXXXXXX", say "XXXXX restaurant has been rated in the South American Handbook as the best in town" where you attibute the info to a known source. Instead of saying that "you can spend a nice weekend" provide a list of facitlities or attractions and let the reader decide for themself if it would be nice to spend a weekend there. This is a rule of wikipedia, so if you want to have your contribution not be chopped down for providing irrelevant material, keep this in mind. --JAXHERE | ^Talk 16:06, 23 March 2007 (UTC)
