Jean-Baptiste L. Romé de l'Isle

Jean-Baptiste L. Romé de l'Isle (August 26, 1736–July 3, 1790) formulated the Law of Constancy of Interfacial Angles in his Traitise on Crystallography (1772), which built on observations by the geologist Nicolaus Steno. He died in Paris, France on July 3, 1790.
