Jean-Paul L'Allier

Jean-Paul L'Allier (born August 12, 1938) was the 38th mayor of Quebec City in Canada. He was mayor for four terms (1989-2005), and supported the Meech Lake Accord. On July 5, 2004, he announced that he would retire after the municipal elections of November 2005.
He was a Liberal cabinet minister from 1970 until 1976.
