Talk:Jean-Baptiste Berthelin
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Okay, so according to this article, Cochonfucius is a French scholar. And according to an addition that User:Cochonfucius (the creator of this article) has made to the article on Hofstadter's book Metamagical Themas, "Cochonfucius" is a pseudonym of Jean-Baptiste Berthelin, one of the translators of that book into French. This page seems to confirm that "Cochonfucius" and Berthelin are the same person. It seems that Berthelin is a cognitive science researcher of some sort. He is connected to the Laboratoire d'Informatique pour la Mécanique et les Sciences de l'Ingénieur (LIMSI), but my French is too weak to properly understand what he does. Perhaps someone better at French than I am can work out what research he does, and whether we can get enough information on him for an article. -- Oliver P. 09:03 13 Jun 2003 (UTC)
I'll take that minor edit to my above text as a sign that the rest of it is correct, then, M. Berthelin. :) -- Oliver P. 14:11 13 Jun 2003 (UTC)
Yes, thank you. --jbb
