Jeff Ball

Jeff Ball (born April 17, 1969 in Merced, California) is the the assistant general manager of the Atlantic City Surf professional baseball team, taking the position on March 21, 2007 after being the team's field manager for the previous three seasons. He is a former Major League third baseman who played for the San Francisco Giants with a lifetime batting average of .250. He is considered very fan-friendly, and a genuine lover of the game.
He was enrolled in the University of California, Santa Barbara. His nickname is H-Bomb, a derivative of his moniker originating from his similarity to former NBA player Fred Hoiberg.[citation needed]
