Jeff Koyen

Writer Jeff Koyen was born in suburban New Jersey. He has lived in Philadelphia, New York City, and Prague. From 1994-2001, he produced Crank Magazine. In 2000, he founded the website 100 Words.[1] After travelling in Europe, he was hired as editor of the New York Press. In 2005, he quit in response to a two-week suspension.[2] Since then, he has been working as a travel and culture writer for the New York Times, New York Post, Gridskipper [3] and Maxim UK and traveled extensively around the world for a year. In June, 2006, he launched Lovely Pictures, Terrible Words, a personal version of 100 Words. He currently resides on the island of Manhattan.
