Jeff Norton

Jeffrey Thomas Norton (born November 25, 1965, Arlington, Massachusetts) is a retired American ice hockey defenceman.
Selected in the 1984 NHL Entry Draft by the New York Islanders, Norton has also played for the San Jose Sharks, St. Louis Blues, Edmonton Oilers, Tampa Bay Lightning, Florida Panthers, Pittsburgh Penguins, and Boston Bruins.
He is the older brother of NHLer Brad Norton.
He is best known for being checked right through the glass by Trevor Linden.
There is also a Jeffrey Michael Norton, from Stacy, Minnesota. He writes sports for the STAR newspaper in Cambridge, MN. He also works on feature stories for them, and is a top East Central Minnesota sports writer.
