Jeff Wolverton is an American screenwriter, voice actor, effects animator and visual effects artist for feature films. He wrote the screenplay to the Academy Award-winning short film The ChubbChubbs! and provided the voice for the title characters. He was personally nominated for a BAFTA (British Academy Award) in 2003.
He was born in Columbus, Ohio and moved to Los Angeles, California after obtaining Bachelor's and Master's Degrees in computer science (with a minor in philosophy) from The Ohio State University. He has created digital visual effects for many top-grossing Hollywood movies such as the Fantastic Four the Spider-Man series, working at such visual effects companies as Walt Disney Feature Animation, Sony Pictures Imageworks, Digital Domain, Rhythm & Hues Studios, DreamWorks Animation, and Stan Winston Studios. He currently works at Sony Pictures Imageworks in Los Angeles, California.
